Filling Sandbags 2

Lt. Miller, Dave Seim, Tom Guardia and Vic Cooper are taking a break from ammo box and sandbag filling. Lt. Miller is wearing a shirt because officers had to be more properly attired than enlisted men. The portable radio is tuned to Armed Forces Radio in Saigon and diverted our attention from this boring and repetitious task. Removal of dirt is creating a hole where we can park our truck to prevent it being hit by shrapnel; a 2 for 1 benefit. Filling large numbers of sandbags over a period of weeks resulted in numerous holes.
