Air Strike 1

Jet Fighter/Bombers striking a mile from our firebase are creating the white smoke. Their sound and speed caught and held my attention for about an hour as I shot this and the 7 images that follow. Had they been working closer I would not have been taking pictures.

The pictures were taken using a 35mm Yashika TL Super and Kodak film. The film purchase included a mailer to send the film postage free, to a Kodak plant in the states for development and printing and returned. Cameras and film were much less expensive than in America.

Polaroid cameras were very popular for their instant output. Double exposing film over a fixed point produced many surreal images such as a person shaking hands with themselves.
